“I grew up on my parent’s sheep and beef property in Hay, New South Wales. After doing an agricultural business diploma in Horsham, Victoria I moved to Perth. I’ve been in Western Australia for 20 years and have worked in several large agricultural machinery companies before starting with Tapex AGRI in 2008.

Tapex AGRI really gets the agricultural sector, and they give me the flexibility, support, and premium products to service my farmers in the way that works for them. I love getting out in the field and working with farmers to help get them the results they’re after. The strong bonds I’ve built with my guys over the years is what continues to motivate me to do the best job I can for them. When I’m not in the paddock, you’ll find me relaxing with my family on the beach in Fremantle.”

“I was raised on a dairy farm in the Kiewa Valley near Tallangatta, Victoria and I went straight from school into the Department of Agriculture. From there, I worked in sales for Liquid Engineering, Consolidated Herd Improvement Services, and then joined Tapex AGRI in 2004.

While dairy farming is my passion, the diverse nature of agriculture in my sales area means I’m looking after everything from cropping and stock to viticulture. For me, one of the most rewarding things is working with farmers to find the right products for their requirements and setting up their machinery to do a great job whatever they’re growing. And over the years I’ve built great relationships with my customers because they know when they come to me they’ll get the best product, technical advice and service on the market. It’s a bold statement to make, but having worked in agriculture all my life and with Tapex AGRI for over a decade, it’s one I’m happy to stand by. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with family, following all sport, and fly fishing on the rivers and streams in North East Victoria.”

I’m a fifth-generation farmer from a farming and grazing family from Tamworth, New South Wales who went straight from school to the tractor. After several years working on my family’s farms, I worked as a stock and station agent for several years and then spent 13 years in the animal health industry before joining Tapex AGRI in 2016.

I’m proud to be part of the Australian agricultural industry because our farmers manage to be competitive and grow some of the world’s best food in the toughest climatic conditions. And I enjoy working alongside these amazing people and helping them find efficiencies and stay ahead of the game. Tapex AGRI invests heavily in research and development, and if a product isn’t up to scratch in a trial, then it doesn’t make it to market. This kind of integrity makes my job much easier because my farmers know they can trust me to deliver the very best crop packing solutions. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time on my farm as well as breeding and training horses, and competing in campdrafts with my family.

“I grew up on my family’s farm in the Wimmera and have been involved in agriculture ever since I could walk. After finishing school in 1975, I headed to the Western District of Victoria to cart hay for my uncle, run a herd of dairy cows, and work in various agricultural businesses in the area. I started with Tapex AGRI in 2005 and have been looking after the farmers and contractors of Western Victoria with their premium crop packaging products ever since.

Having driven balers for 15 years I’ve got to know a fair bit about fodder, twine, net wrap and silage plastics, and how to set up machinery to get the best results. I know farming is a tough game so I take a lot of pride helping make life a little easier for my customers. Whether it’s getting my hands dirty or simply having a cuppa and being a sounding board, I feel happiest when I’m helping farmers solve problems. When I’m not on the road visiting farms, I enjoy spending time with my wife, 4 children and six grandkids, getting away for short breaks, and travelling to Melbourne to watch the Mighty Tigers.”

“I grew up in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales and have been involved in hay and silage production for as long as I can remember. I moved to South Australia in my early 20s to work on irrigation projects for several years before managing a Toyota dealership and then finally getting back into agriculture when I joined Tapex AGRI in 2011.

Having been involved in the fodder industry, I’ve first-hand experience using Tapex AGRI’s products and have always been impressed with the results. So are the farmers I work with today if their feedback is anything to go by. And when things don’t work as they should, I feel proud to work for a company that encourages us to work directly with customers to troubleshoot issues in person and get things back on track. For me, spending time out in the field with the customer is the best part of my job.
